High performance brushless motor design for increased durability and
flexibility |

This is
a brand new electric screwdriver range from Sumake featuring a new brushless
motor. The benefits of this new motor design are to improve durability and
offer a wider range of torque and RPM - this is because in brushless motors
commutation is achieved electronically and therefore they are capable of
very high speeds and torque without arcing.
As
brushless motors have a lower thermal resistance they are able to operate in
a much wider temperature range and will achieve a higher duty cycle. No
brushes also mean a reduction in maintenance and no brush contamination to
the bearing or environment which also makes this screwdriver safer when in
contact with fluids due to the elimination of arcing.
Lastly
due to the lower thermal resistance, these drivers are capable of operating
in wider temperature ranges, have higher torque to inertia ratios, and
greater acceleration. The smaller brushless motor can do the same job as
their much larger counterparts would otherwise be used for - this also
results in a reduction in costs. Available as either a push to start
(suffixed by P) or lever model (L), the following size options are offered
(all of the models below are also available with a built in counter - please
phone for details).
We are
shortly introducing a further heavy duty pistol grip version capable of
torque up to 153 kgf-cm (15Nm). |

The
standard power supply packed with the above screwdrivers is the SP-32HL60T.
This power supply offers the option of running at either low or high speed,
by a simple flick of a switch on the top of the unit. Like the full Sumake
range this item is RoHs compliant and dimensions are as follows: 145 x 60 x
35mm, weighing 0.25kg - suitable for one screwdriver only |
