We're
pleased to announce a complete new range of Sumake Electric Screwdrivers.
The
previous models - these being the SUEA-2000 through to and including the
SUEA-9000 and all related options on the power supplies and separate guns
have now been replaced with a new range.
The new
range offers an improved model with better durability and this has been
achieved by the innovation of a brand new motor and the choice of either a
brushless driver or a driver with harder wearing external brushes, allowing
for easier maintenance.
SUMAKE
electric screwdrivers are of a high quality and the patented motor can
produce a maximum torque of up to 15Nm and is a technical innovation in this
Industry. At the same time, you will find that the pricing of these drivers
is extremely competitive when compared to other brands.

The advantage
of Brushless Electric Screwdriver:
The current
market trend is towards brushless series. Why Brushless (Non-Carbon Brush):
1. Wider
Torque & RPM Range: Because the Brushless motor commutation is
accomplished electronically, brushless DC motors are capable of very high
speeds and torque without arcing.
2. Higher
Duty cycles: Brushless motors have a lower thermal resistance and are
capable of operating in a wider temperature range.
3. Cleaner &
Safer: No brushes mean a maintenance reduction and no brush residue
contamination to bearing or the environment. There is no arcing associated
with brushes, and therefore, are safer in explosive environments. Brushless
DC motors are also safer in contact with fluids than brush DC motors.
4. Quieter:
Since there is no brush arcing or brush commutation, brushless motors
are much quieter both electrically and audibly.
5. Small and
lighter: Because they have lower thermal resistance, are capable of
operating in wider temperature ranges, have higher torque to inertia ratios,
and have greater acceleration, smaller brushless DC motors can do the same
job that their much larger counterparts would otherwise be used for. This
result in an overall cost reduction
In a nutshell we can now offer 2 choices to the customer, either the model
with external brushes which act as a direct replacement for the SUEA-2000 -
SUEA-9000 series and all of which are similarly priced , or the brushless
model which is a little more expensive but of excellent quality. Note that
all of these come with a new power supply which has a high and low speed
facility on it and the SUEA-412 (SUEA-B412) series and up are available as
either lever start or push to start although for initial stock we will be
keeping just the lever type. As before, all are also available in an ESD
version if required. Please note none of the existing power supplies are
compatible with the new drivers.
